Services and opening times for Lavernock SPAR post office

A POST office, which was trialled in a Penarth shop, will now be based there permanently.

In March 2021 a post office branch was trialled at SPAR on Brockhill Way in the Lavernock area of Penarth – offering basic mail and bill-payment services.

Following a review of the trial, the post office will be permanently based here – with services to expand, including banking services.

It will be open seven days a week, with opening times available at the bottom of this article.

Lavernock Post Office is not the only one based in Penarth – there is also one based on Glebe Street, with both among more than 11,500 branches of the post office across the UK.

4,000 of these branches are open seven days a week – including Lavernock Post Office – and 99.7 per cent of the population in the UK live within three miles of a post office.
