Making Wales the best place in the world to grow older

The Older Peoples commissioner for Wales held a recent consultation on the work and priorities She should focus on as Commissioner. Your thoughts and experiences have been very useful in helping her to determine the action She will take to improve the lives of older people throughout Wales over the next three years.

Your response, along with over 260 others from older people and organisations throughout Wales, helped me to develop my three-year strategy – Making Wales the best place in the world to grow older – and my work programme for 2019-20, which have both now been published.

Linked is a copy of my strategy and my work programme for the year ahead, as well as a short summary report on the consultation that you so kindly responded to.

As part of your response, you indicated that you would be happy for me or my team to contact you as part of any further consultation on my work or priorities. I hope you are still happy for me to contact you again in the future, but if this is no longer the case, please get in touch with my office to let us know.
