Look who’s just been in court from Barry and St Athan

A ROUND-UP of recent cases heard at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.

ANDREW KEITH RUMBELOW, 41, of Ramsey Road, Barry, was jailed for eight weeks after he pleaded guilty to assaulting a security guard at Cardiff and Vale College on Dumballs Road in Cardiff.

He was ordered to pay £178 in compensation and a surcharge following his release from prison.

NIGEL BOWEN, 64, of Buttrills Close, Barry, was jailed for 14 weeks, suspended for 12 months, after he was found guilty of failing to stop after an accident whereby personal injury was caused to Aaron Thomas at the Morrisons supermarket car park.

He was ordered to pay £735 in costs and a surcharge and his driving record was endorsed with 10 points.

LISA ROWLES, 49, of Hanover Court, Barry, was ordered to pay £219 in a fine, costs and a surcharge after she admitted assault by beating.

CHANNAY CUSCHIERI, 25, of Main Street, Barry, was banned from driving for 49 days after she admitted driving without insurance.

She was ordered to pay £335 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

KASSAM KHAN, 30, of Cawley Place, Barry, was banned from driving for 12 months for driving without insurance on Cei Dafydd.

He was ordered to pay £244 in a fine, costs and a surcharge.

JOHN ROBERT PETERSON, 41, of Holton Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £239 in fines, costs and a surcharge after he admitted the theft of a £3,000 Shiv TT bike and possessing cannabis.

ANDREW BRUCE OWEN, 35, of Hood Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £816 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance.

His driving record was endorsed with six points.

JOSH OLIVER WILDING, 31, of Afal Sur, Barry, was fined £40 after he admitted failing to comply with the community requirement of a suspended jail sentence.

CHRISTOPHER TURNER, 61, of Collard Crescent, Barry, was ordered to pay £827 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance.

His driving record was endorsed with six points.

PAUL ROWLAND, 46, of Wren Road, St Athan, was ordered to pay £400 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for driving without insurance.

His driving record was endorsed with six points.
