The Youth Led Grants Panel are delighted to announce that applications are now open for 2022/23 Youth Led Grant fund. The fund is a grant for youth volunteering projects and activities that take place in the Vale of Glamorgan. The Panel will be awarding grants of up to £1500 over the next few months. Read More

The Vale of Glamorgan Carers’ Team are contacting all unpaid carers who have requested training or asked for development to help you in your caring responsibilities. This review of training and development for unpaid carers living in the Vale of Glamorgan will enable us to ascertain if there is a demand, both for existing and new courses or for other support/development. The sessions will run from 10.30 until 12 on Tuesdays in The Duke of Wellington Ballroom. Each session costs £5 on the door or book and pay for six sessions in advance at the cost of only five. Any carer accompanying a paying member can attend for free. Read More

Third Sector Capital Fund 2022
The Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board has allocated £100,000 funding from the Welsh Government’s Housing with Care Fund, to support third sector community services in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. This Fund aims to provide capital resources for projects that support older people, carers, people with disabilities and children, that deliver services closer to home in their local communities to help prevent the need to access Health & Social Care services in a more formal setting. The Capital Fund is open for applications from Friday 6th January 2023, with a deadline for submission of 12pm on Friday, 27th January 2023. Read More
