A Warm Welcome Community Lunch
This has been made possible from grants given by the National Grid Community Fund and the Vale Council. It will enable Nicci the coordinator and the wonderful team of volunteers to remain open longer and to serve soup, a roll and a hot drink free of charge for up to 30 people a day Monday to Friday between 12 noon and 2pm until the end of March. These courses are all FREE of charge for Vale of Glamorgan professionals to attend and are a blend of face to face and virtual sessions. Third Sector Capital Fund 2022
The Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board has allocated £100,000 funding from the Welsh Government’s Housing with Care Fund, to support third sector community services in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. This Fund aims to provide capital resources for projects that support older people, carers, people with disabilities and children, that deliver services closer to home in their local communities to help prevent the need to access Health & Social Care services in a more formal setting. The Capital Fund is open for applications from Friday 6th January 2023, with a deadline for submission of 12pm on Friday, 27th January 2023. Read More
