The Provident Social Impact Fund (Wales) aims to support social inclusion and closes on the 4th of August. Read More

UK Government fund opens for bids from communities across Wales

The government is providing £150 million over 4 years to support community groups in Wales to take ownership of assets and amenities at risk of being lost. Read More

Vaccination saves lives: new toolkit to help employers encourage employees to get COVID-19 vaccine

The Welsh Government is encouraging employers to do all they can to support their workforce to get vaccinated. Read More

Shielding experienced decline in health care use, and at higher risk of poor mental health, during pandemic

A new report, published today by Public Health Wales, identifies marked declines in hospital care during the Coronavirus pandemic amongst those clinically extremely vulnerable (CEV) to severe Coronavirus symptoms and advised to shield; and that this population were at a higher risk of experiencing poorer mental health than the general population from March to September 2021. Advice to those who are Clinically Extremely Vulnerable – Sent on behalf of Welsh Government

The Chief Medical Officer for Wales is sending a letter to all those on the Shielding Patient List (SPL) which should arrive soon. The letter does not advise to follow any particular shielding measures but contains advice on how to stay safe as restrictions will be reduced over the next few weeks. Read More
