Get engaged – Opportunities to get involved

Annwyl ffrind,

Rydym yn eich gwahodd i gymryd rhan mewn cyfle ymgysylltu ynghylch rhoi cydraddoldeb, amrywiaeth a chynhwysiant wrth galon Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru
Rhannwch y gwahoddiad hwn gyda grwpiau cymunedol a mudiadau sy’n gweithio gyda chydraddoldeb a gyda’ch aelodau neu unigolion amrywiol.

Pwrpas y gwaith ymgysylltu hwn

Y gwaith ymgysylltu hwn yw eich cyfle i ddweud wrthym ni:
  • unrhyw beth y mae Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru yn ei wneud yn dda o ran cydraddoldeb, amrywiaeth a chynhwysiant, yn eich barn chi
  • yr hyn y dylai Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru ei wneud i wella cydraddoldeb, amrywiaeth a chynhwysiant yn eu gwaith i gyd, yn eich barn chi
  • yr hyn y dylai Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru ei wneud i recriwtio, cefnogi, cadw a dyrchafu mwy o staff amrywiol, yn eich barn chi
  • sut gall Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru ymgysylltu mwy gyda chi a phobl a chymunedau amrywiol

Pwy yw Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru?

Fe’n ffurfiwyd ym mis Ebrill 2013, a bu i ni gymryd drosodd y mwyafrif o swyddogaethau Cyngor Cefn Gwlad Cymru, Comisiwn Coedwigaeth Cymru ac Asiantaeth yr Amgylchedd Cymru.
Rydym yn cyflogi 1,900 o staff ledled Cymru, ac yn rheoli saith y cant o arwynebedd tir Cymru gan gynnwys coetiroedd, Gwarchodfeydd Natur Cenedlaethol, canolfannau ymwelwyr, cyfleusterau hamdden a labordai.
Rydym yn ymatebydd categori un i oddeuty 9,000 o ddigwyddiadau amgylcheddol bob blwyddyn ledled Cymru, ac yn gyfrifol am reoli risg llifogydd o brif afonydd a’r môr.
Ein pwrpas yw sicrhau bod adnoddau naturiol Cymru yn cael eu cynnal, eu gwella a’u defnyddio’n gynaliadwy, nawr ac yn y dyfodol.
Hwyrach eich bod wedi ein gweld yn gweithio’n galed yn cynnal a chadw ac yn datblygu llwybrau cerdded a beicio mynydd a chanolfannau hamdden fel Coed y Brenin ger Dolgellau, neu ymgymryd â gwaith cadwraeth pwysig fel rhai o’n cynefinoedd mwyaf gwarchodedig fel Twyni Pen-bre.

Our purpose is to ensure that the natural resources of Wales are sustainably maintained, enhanced and used, now and in the future.
You possibly will have seen us at working hard developing and maintaining walking and mountain bike trails and recreation centres such as Coed y Brenin near Dolgellau, or undertaking important conservation work at some of our most protected habitats such as Pembrey Burrows.

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board engagement event on shaping our future clinical services

When: Tuesday 30th March
1 pm to 2 pm
On Zoom
This will be a presentation and a chance to ask your questions and have them answered.
Please email [email protected] or [email protected] to register.
About the event
The Shaping Our Future Clinical Services engagement programme will run from Monday 1st March until 19th April 2021.  The purpose of the programme is to find out what is most important to people about how we deliver our healthcare services, and how we can improve the way we do this for the future.
Over the next 7 weeks we will be reaching out to our communities – our staff, members of the public and a range of other stakeholders. This is an opportunity for our population to learn more about our proposed plans, provide valuable feedback and help inform our direction of travel.
How we deliver our clinical services needs to evolve to overcome new challenges presented by changes in our population, workforce demands and other issues. The changes to clinical services we are proposing, are key to the delivery of our vision to ensure that every person has the chance to lead a healthy life, no matter who they are or where they live.
The Shaping Our Future Clinical Services programme will help to transform the way our patients access our clinical services from their homes, communities and in hospital. It will facilitate, develop and deliver a plan for redesign over the next ten years, with a focus on services being delivered closer to home wherever feasible. The programme will also develop a service model for our future hospitals to ensure exceptional care in state-of-the-art facilities.
The shapingourfuturewellbeing.com website is our engagement hub for this programme, providing lots of information and the opportunity to give feedback. Information is also available in a variety of other accessible formats.

Share your experiences and hopes for the Socio-economic duty in Wales

We’ve been working with Welsh Government on the implementation of the Socio-economic duty in Wales.
They’re looking for people with protected characteristics to talk about their experiences of socio-economic inequality and how it relates to inequality and their characteristics as well as what needs to change and how.
These are likely to be short videos.
If you’re interested please email [email protected] as soon as possible.
We should be able to share more details with you soon. Registering an interest does not commit you.

Researcher wants to speak to you about experiences of low income diverse households

Do you have an hour to spare for an informal chat about your experience of living on a low household income – and how you, your family and community have been affected by benefit changes, cuts to your local services, recent changes in the job market and also the pressures of the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions?
I am a researcher at Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, who is studying the impact of financial and other pressures on households and local communities with experience of economic and other inequalities, in order to encourage politicians to introduce better policies for addressing these issues.
As part of my project, I am keen to speak to individuals and families who are living on low incomes – to hear about the challenges you have faced both before and since the pandemic. I would be interested in speaking to you about:
•              your experience of the benefits system, the cost of living and/or the job market
•              challenges your neighbourhood, community and area/neighbourhood/town have faced over the period that you have been living there
•              the impact of employment changes and spending cuts on your household and your area
•              the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions on people living and working in your area
I am hoping to speak to people from as wide a range of backgrounds as possible – so please get in touch if you have experience of financial hardship and are interested in taking part, whatever your age, gender, ethnicity and/or religious and cultural background. As a small thank-you for your time, I can offer you a £10 gift voucher.
If you are interested in speaking to me, please contact me at the following email address – [email protected] – or by phone, on 07841 821774.
