Free Workshops – Comic Relief Community Fund in Wales

GVS and C3SC have organised free workshops in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan for organisations (including Town and Community Councils) to find out more about the Comic Relief Community Fund in Wales. Night Out is an Arts Council of Wales scheme that takes away the financial risk of bringing professional shows to community venues in Wales. They provide funding, tickets, advice and recommendations for great shows. Read more

The Worshipful Company of Weavers Benevolent Fund

The Fund’s principal aim should be to support people in trouble, particularly young offenders and ex-offenders, and other disadvantaged young people. Preference is given to pump priming new projects, especially those which are innovatory and can serve as a model elsewhere. The next application closing date is 30th November 2019. Read more

One Stop Shop Carriers for Causes

Carriers for Causes grants are available for good causes within two miles of a One Stop shop. Grants, of up to £1000 will be available to support projects that ‘benefit local communities – helping to improve lives and local places’. Read more

The True Colours Trust

The Trust only funds registered charities or activities with clearly defined charitable purposes. Grants of up to £10,000 are available for projects working to support disabled children and their families. Read
