Friends Against Scams – Scamnesty Campaign

Please see below and attached campaign information and materials for this year’s Scamnesty Campaign run by Friends Against Scams, kindly provided by Joanna Cieloszyk.
Due to the success of last year’s campaign, the Friends Against Scams team are once again running a Scamnesty (a scam mail amnesty) campaign aiming to encourage everyone in the UK to send in any unwanted scam and nuisance mail that they receive to the National Trading Standards (NTS) Scams Team, completely free of charge.
The campaign will run from Monday 29th November until Friday 24th December. Each week on social media will cover a different type of scam mail, which are detail in the attached pack. The social media pack and infographics are all available in both English and Welsh. There will be more information for the public and an address to send post to on our website at which will go live on Monday morning.
The team would appreciate your support in spreading awareness of the campaign, and encouraging people to send in their scam post for investigation. A social media pack and a series of infographics are attached, which can be used on your social media platforms if you are able to support. Please do also keep an eye out for posts to share from the team at @AgainstScams on Twitter and @FriendsAgainst on Facebook.
If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
