A WELL-KNOWN drag queen will perform in Barry to support those facing dementia.
Ceri Dupree will perform at Cadoxton Cons Club, on Vere Street, on September 3 to raise funds for an interactive dementia table at Ty Draw Lodge in Cardiff.
People can expect a hilarious evening – packed with live singing and impressions – from 7pm. There will also be an auction and raffle with numerous prizes.
The care home is managed by Toby Stockton, who said:
“Ceri’s concerts are always absolutely fantastic and hysterically funny so we really hope the community will get behind this worthwhile cause of helping local people from Cardiff and the Vale get this piece of equipment.
“Although the care home is in Cardiff we are on the Vale framework too so we contract with them so many of our residents are from the Barry area and I also live in Barry.”
