Barry men and women fined for breaking Covid-19 rules

THE following people were recently fined at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court for breaking Covid-19 rules during lockdown.

LAYTON THOMAS GRONOW, 39, of Woodlands Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £1,740 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for breaching coronavirus restrictions by gathering in private without reasonable excuse at Bar Envy on Broad Street on February 13.

REANNE STEWART, 28, of Milton Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £214 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for breaching coronavirus restrictions by gathering in private without reasonable

excuse at Heol Leubren on February 7.

EMMA ELIZABETH SWEENEY, 32, of Dyfan Road, Barry, was ordered to pay £184 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for breaching coronavirus restrictions by gathering in private without reasonable excuse at Jenner Street on February 6.

HOLLY LOUISE WINDSOR, 30, of Ffordd Penrhyn, Barry, was ordered to pay £214 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for breaching coronavirus restrictions by gathering in private without reasonable excuse at Jenner Street on February 6.

MICHAEL CROSS, 28, of Riverside Place, Barry, was ordered to pay £214 in a fine, costs and a surcharge for breaching coronavirus restrictions by gathering in private without reasonable excuse at Clos Tyniad Glo on December 31, 2020.
